The Reg-480 and REG-8160 are output-regulated strobe power supplies that provide consistent output intensity regardless of the number of activated strobe heads.

Output power is regulated to 20 Watts per outlet, eliminating the possibility of overdriving the strobe heads. The REG-480 and REG-8160 allow you to use any type of strobe tubes- Linear or Standard. (Linear flash tubes over 4 inches long have a higher impedance than standard "Twisted" tubes and would ordinarily misfire when used along with standard tubes. The REG-480 and REG-8160 overcome this limitation.)

The REG-480 and REG-8160 automatically adjusts the output power based on the number of strobe heads in use.
