XStream™ is an interior mount LED warning light that can be installed almost anywhere inside a police car, fire commander and volunteer fire vehicle, or work truck. XStream is available in single or dual head configurations and with cigarette plug or wire leads that allow for synchronization. Ideal for dash/deck, headliner, and window mount applications, each model includes a light head, two suction cups, bail and pivot brackets, mounting hardware and three different length snap-on flash guards making installation quick and versatile. Every model is built with Federal Signal’s Solaris® LED reflector for superior optical performance. In addition, SpectraLux® multicolor LED technology provides the ability for a LED light head to change color and operate as a single, dual, or triple color light head through user-selected color modes.

XStream warning lights come equipped with (25) flash patterns and (10) color modes. Flash patterns and color modes can be changed simply with two recessed buttons included on each model. Wired units use an advanced five wire technology that coordinates flash patterns between up to eight lights at once. Cigarette plug models are simple to transfer from vehicle to vehicle and include two switches for on/off and White steady-burn.

very strong light output for a very slim line unit, i mounted 2 of these in tandem front visor, with the takedown override, super bright super slim super lightweight,

ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT

Awesome light, very small and light weight, very bright and the feature it gives are cutting edge. However while trying to set the flash patterns, the button broke, luckily it broke on a flash pattern that I can live with. I took the light apart to try to fix it and that's not possible with the design of the light, if they fix that small design issue it would be a five star light easily. I'm sure they would stand behind their product with the warranty, I just don't have the time to mess with it. It works great on the pattern it's on and I can still change colors, just have to remember to be very gentle when using that button, (same kind of button as the flash pattern button).

The suction cup mount is flimsy and the dual model has no split patterns. It's essentially a single head .it will do what it needs to but definitely needs improvements

Forget the suction cups; they are flimsy, go with the secure mounts on this website. The unit is very lightweight and extremely bright , I think you would be hard pressed to find something brighter in this size range. I have had no issue with the setting buttons, but I set the configuration before I mounted it in the vehicle. I would recommend this over some imported cheaply made light. The American name brands are still the best, and Federal Signal products are definitely top shelf in my opinion.

It's good but room for improvements

I really love this product! The amount of patterns and color options allows for perfect flexibility if you want to isolate colors. Like in my case I use the red/blue for law enforcement use on one switch and on the other switch a solid white as a small takedown light. I feel like the light has a lot of room for improvements though. The secondary switch ONLY allows for you to use steady burn white or red and/or Title XIII steady red on one module with the other one flashing between red and blue. I don't like that about the light and wish that you had 2 complete options with the switches being customer flexible and not so isolated to 2 options. Originally, my intention was to have a red/blue for slide switch 2 and red/blue/white for slide switch 3 but that is not the case once I received the product and I was a bit disappointed by that. I will continue to run the product but I hope in the future there are more options available for customers.

Great light for the price

Well, For someone like me, I needed a light that was Tri-Color. In my state we either can run Red/White or Blue/White only. Depending on position in the FD. So this light was a no brainier. After receiving this light, I was a little skeptical on how bright it would be because of the size of the dash light. Boy was I surprised. This is is bright. For the price, I could not believe it. Even better it that I could use it when I could switch positions in the FD. Now there is 1 downside to it that I did not like. Mode 2 does either steady burn of just one color or does a California Burn with a flash patter. That is it. You can not actually use it as a secondary flash pattern. Which would be nice if you could actually do it that way. Other than that, its a really great light.

This item has good Light output but poorly put together and designed, broke easy after 3 tests of finding what pattern I wanted. Too bad, I had high hopes. It just is cheap put together. Light output great, but if won't function then......:(
