We set the mark with our never before seen before Surface Stars. Now we are offering our Next Generation Surface Star LEDs in a self contained version. For years we were forced to use hide-a-way LED lights as surface mounts, however we have developed the first hide-a-way style LED specifically designed to be used a surface mount. The self contained Surface Star features flash patterns built right into the light head itself. Why use a light designed for mounting inside a head and taillight when you can used a light designed for mounting on the outside of your vehicle? Light output and intensity second to none, our Surface Star is the only Class 1 rated light of its type. These lights blow away the competition in output, price and features.

This kit includes one surface star LED lighthead with flasher built-in, one surface mount black flange, one gasket, screws and install guide.

Easy install. 3 holes in the body per light. Installed two red ones above the taillights on a silverado for rear warning. Painted the flanges to match the body of the truck, and they arent obvious until lit. Very bright, lots of flash patterns, wired the steady burn override to the brake lights. \r Will be using these again in the future.

Excellent light. Installed four ambers in rear of truck. One directly above and below each tail light and sync Quad-flash alternating (upper-left with lower-right and lower-left with upper-right). Also tapped into vehicle backup light for steady burn while in reverse. Hole punched into sheet metal for mount with rubber gaskets. Off-angle is outstanding and solid burn for backup provide the ultimate in reverse area lighting for night vision. Looking to install more of these as intersection lights. Worth it.

These lights are great and look factory on our Toyota Tacoma here at the airport, they were easy to install and wire. City likes how bright they are even in day light.

I purchased these for parade/emergency lights on a motorcycle, I wanted something small yet very bright that was easy to install and didn't take up a lot of space with a central power supply. These fit the bill perfectly, and are extremely bright. Installation and wiring was a snap and they look good as well, previously on another vehicle I used your TIR3 strobes, which are great but with a larger foot print than what I was looking for. Thanks for a great product.

For the most part I like these lights. The fit of the flange/gasket is not ideal. I ordered these in amber and the color is not quite as orange as I've seen on other similar lights. These tend a bit toward yellow. Certainly not a deal breaker. There are plenty bright and have good off axis coverage when mounted as directed.

A: The lights mount inside a 1 inch hole and the overall size behind the hole is 1/4 deep x 1.4 wide.
